Old Grime? Yes Please

Ruff Sqwad have announced they will re-release 22 tracks on CD out of a number of their ‘White Label Classics’. The release will come out on the No Hats No Hoods Label on the 10th of December and will only cost £7.50. #Winning?.

Personally I’m psyched, as getting my hands on all of these tracks in Loseless quality is a definite win. This release is probably aimed at all of the grime kids who remember downloading tracks like Pied Piper on Limewire and sending it to their friends through Bluetooth. At the same time it’s a win for Ruff Sqwad, as perhaps they are trying to show some love to the grime addicts who have been bugging them for these tunes for years. Whilst Ruff Sqwad have done well from themselves, it’s not entirely wrong to say that they have distanced themselves from making grime music, however the fact they have bothered to re-release these tracks is appreciated.
