Royal-T – Rinse Presents Royal-T

Royal-T is probably best known as a Grime producer, well to my ears anyhow. Yet you wouldn’t think so with this release. That’s not to say I don’t like the release though, I actually love it.

I have never been too big a fan of Royal-T’s style of producing grime, as for the majority of his dubs that I would listen to, the track would just sound uncomfortable to me.  And about this alubm, I have read a few articles online which claim this Royal-T album is a blessing for grime, but it’s not really grime. I mean take a listen to the dub, with the grimiest feature on the album, Merky Ace, and the track sounds more like a remix to a single, rather than a dub which Merky Ace has jumped on.
