Drake – Come Thru (James Blake Version) (Free Download)

So, another Drake remix, except this time Drake’s vocal is actually left in. Although DJ Q’s From Time remix, Kastle’s Hold On Were Going Home remix and Jessies Andrew’s remix of Sampha and Drake’s track Too Much all hit the spot sweetly, there is much to expect from James Blake’s remix, seeing as he is the most well known producer of the pack. In those terms the remix is perhaps the most disappointing, as out of the four tracks I have mentioned, I feel I will give Come Thru the least amount of plays. Nonetheless Come Thru is still a solid track and the sound is very reminiscent of what I would expect to hear from James Blake. The rework is only really noticeable one minute in, where Blake hits us with some solid synths.
